Wash smarter, less often and at lower temperatures

High temperatures damage textile fibres and greatly reduce the lifespan of your clothes. Our Pro Wash system delivers perfectly clean clothes at lower temperatures. Pro wash activates the detergent earlier in the cycle, prolonging its cleaning effect. It also ensures that all detergent is used.

Every time you wash your clothes the fibres are rubbed, folded and worn until they finally break apart. ASKO washing machines and tumble dryers come with airing and steam programs that refresh clothes with no visible stains. This means you can wear your clothes again without having to wash them, saving time, detergent, water and energy.

If clothes are soiled or stained, it can be tempting to rub them with stain remover before starting the wash. This actually damages the fabric and can even make the stain worse. With our washing machines, we have created stain removal programs that are tailored to both fabric and stain types. Simply choose the type of fabric and stain and then let the washing machine take care of the stain in the best possible way.

The right dose, washing dark fabrics and using air as a softener

ASKO washing machines come with a program specially designed for dark washes. Extra rinses are added while low mechanical action and low spin speeds ensure that your dark laundry is washed gently and rinsed thoroughly. It is generally recommended to avoid tumble drying dark clothing as the heat can be tough on colour. ASKO tumble dryers, however, use heat pump drying technology to dry fabrics at a lower temperature, so they are kinder to your clothes. They also come with drying programs specially designed for synthetic fabrics, wool and silk. As well as being kinder to your clothes, heat pump drying technology uses 69% less energy than ordinary condenser and vented dryers.

ASKO tumble dryers also have other benefits. There’s no doubt about it, soft towels feel great against the skin. But clothes softeners contain microscopic plastic particles that actually cause towels to become less absorbent, which can even contribute to skin problems. ASKO tumble dryers are designed to be extremely kind to fabrics, which as well as reducing shrinking, keeps towels soft without having to use chemicals.

Wool is naturally strong and durable. However, it can change shape when it is washed too intensively. Ideally, it should be washed by hand, but this takes a lot of time and skill. ASKO washing machines can wash wool in a way that is gentler than hand washing could ever be. then, when it’s time to dry, you have the option of using the special wool drying program on our ASKO tumble dryers.
